So I first want to start off this blog post with a little update! So recently I had a one-on-one coaching session with Katelyn James, and lets just say there are some BIG changes coming to my business that I can’t wait to share with you all! For those of who are regular readers on my blog, you may have noticed that this post is on a Tuesday, which is something I’ve never done. Normally I like to blog Monday, Wednesday, Friday. With that being said, the Spring semester just rolled around the corner and due to my schedule I am not able to stick to my Mon, Wed, Fri, routine. I plan to keep my blog running as MUCH as possible! My plan is to blog very Tuesday and Thursday, with tons of fun educational posts, as well as senior and wedding posts! YAAY! The other updated that I want to keep you guys in-tuned with is Makeup Monday’s. Now, I still plan to do them, because I LOVE doing them! But I’m not gonna lie, they are the most time consuming thing I’ve ever done! It takes me anywhere from 2-3 hours just to set up the lighting, and record the makeup look. The the editing can take around another 2-3 hours. Which, don’t get me wrong, I’m SO willing to do, but sometimes it just gets in the way of other priorities! So with that being said, I’m going to come up with a set plan for each month of how many videos I want to do, and kinds of looks I want to do, and plan it out that way! 🙂 To help me out with this process I would truly LOVE to hear what you want to see! Do you like more educational makeup videos, or do you enjoy watching the more extravagant, fun looks? Just let me know in the comments and I would be happy to plan that into my makeup schedule! 🙂 Feeeewww. Okay now THAT was a rant. I apologize and I wont talk any further. Now on to the recap!!!!
2015 was an incredible year!!! So many amazing things happened in my life and I’m so blessed for all of it! So in honor of the new year & the new beginning, I wanted to take a moment to take a step back and review all of my amazing seniors this year! I am truly blessed to have the most amazing group of seniors! Now I debated what I was going to do with this blog post. I know some photographers spend hours re-culling & re-editing all their favorite images to create a cohesive blog post. As I understand the thinking behind that, for me 2015 was my year of trial and error. I believe that I have grown and changed as a photographer SO much over the course of the year! I love every single one of my seniors this year, and at one point in time, I was most proud and obsessed with every one of my seniors galleries! Every photographer grows and changes, it’s part of the art of being a photographer! So not only do I want this post to glorify each and every one of my beautiful seniors, but I also want it to be an inspiration to other photographers that it is okay to change & it is okay to experiment with your style. I want my growth, and my trial and error as a photographer to inspire others. I’m going to do this post in chronological order, so starting with my early 2015 seniors and leading up to my most recent seniors! So with that being said I hope you enjoy this recap of all my amazing 2015 seniors!!!!
